"I met scholar Dinani while shooting the documentary 'From Pariz to Paris'. His student Karim Feizi was accompanying him and it was there where I decided to work on his life story as my next project," he told the Persian service of MNA on Saturday. "The documentary is a joint project. The research was carried out by Feizi who knows Dinani very well. Research is now complete and we are currently in the pre-production stage. "It took a little while before Dinani was comfortable in front of the camera, although he has previously appeared on some TV programs. He had thought that working in a studio would be much easier for him than it actually was, after appearing before our camera," he added. The documentary is a joint production by the Documentary and Experimental Film Center (DEFC) and Mirhashemi. Gholamhossein Ebrahimi-Dinani was born in 1934. He is known as the individual who has helped revive the Oriental Theosophy through reviewing and studying works by the Master of Oriental Theosophy, Shahab al-Din Yahya Sohrevardi. "General Principles of Philosophy", "Logic and Knowledge in Ghazali's Opinion" and "Worship of a Philosopher" are among Dinani's noteworthy credits.
